I finally figured out why the EU so strongly backed the independence of Kosovo.  Several countries within the EU have already started deporting Kosovar Albanians back to Kosovo.  Previously they had been admitted to the EU because of "ethnic persecution" (Something Muslims do to Christians and Jews everywhere, but nobody grants them asylum.)

Now the EU is shedding itself of the Albanians by dumping them into Serbia in the EU/US created puppet state of Kosovo.

If they really wanted to be fair, and not further punish Serbia, they would send the Albanians back to Albania, not to further occupy the historical heart of Serbia.
